Christmas Recipe Ideas – Glaze Baby Mushroom with Speculaas and Coconut Sugar

Christmas is just around the corner. We know that some of you might be busy and only have a little time to plan your Christmas dishes.  Therefore, we have prepared a quick and easy Christmas recipe by Chef Petty Elliott, so you can save your time to wrap your Christmas gifts.

This mouth-watering dish is one of the last minutes Christmas recipes that is super easy to make. Our Glaze Baby Mushroom is a healthy Christmas dish that tastes super good as it is complimented with secret ingredients, speculaas and coconut sugar!

Ingredients:

  • 250g baby chestnut mushroom or replace with button mushroom
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ½ – 1 teaspoon speculaas
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Direction:

  1. Clean the mushroom with kitchen towel or mushroom brush. Don’t wash the mushroom.
  2. Heat a frying pan in medium heat and add the coconut oil and add all the mushroom.
  3. Cook in slow-medium heat for around 20-25 minutes or until the mushroom soften and glossy. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Add the coconut sugar and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes. Add 1-2 tablespoons water to have more glossy looks. Ready to serve.
