Sialang tree (Koompassia excelsa) is an endemic tree of the landscape forests of Bukit 30 (30Hills). A single tree has between 10 to 30 bee combs. Harvesting is done sustainably using traditional methods and rituals. A portion of the bee comb is maintained intact to allow sustenance of the bee colonies. It requires special skill to harvest the honey, and must be done in group. Sialang tree can be up to 90 meters height. Sialang honey has citrusy notes. It is also perfect to be paired with cheese and yoghurt.
