They asked if Mrs. Helianti could help them sells the vegetables they had to harvest before the vegetables scorched by exposure to volcanic ash.
At first, Mrs. Helianti thought about offering the vegetables to her friends. However, Mrs. Helianti was very surprised when she heard that there were about 1-2 tons of vegetables that will be harvested per type of vegetable. Mrs. Helianti was quite confused, considering that vegetables are a perishable type of food or can rot easily in a short time, especially with such a large amount of vegetables.
From this problem, Mrs. Helianti realized that the only solution for perishable agricultural products was to make these vegetables into processed products. The idea was born to process vegetables as a mixture of dry noodles, a food product that can be stored for a long time and has a relatively large market. Finally, Mrs. Helianti contacted an acquaintance who happened to be a producer of dry noodles to produce vegetable dry noodles.
In the end, Javara Vegetable Noodle was born which we now know as Javara Gourmet Noodles. This product itself has been exported to Italy since 2012! This fact is actually quite interesting, considering that Italy is a pasta country. In fact, in recent years, the export of Javara Gourmet Noodle has started to spread to South Africa.
